He is a butcher by trade — and has been for a very long time — and everything he puts in a jar has been thought through with real precision. Butcher BBQ products were one of the foundations behind our long run of first-place finishes in the brisket category. We have always used Butcher BBQ and we mix it with nothing but plain water. If you are planning to cook a brisket, there is no rival to this product. Do not try mixing it with stock or anything similar — it will make the meat very salty very quickly, and the only correct approach is clean spring water. The other important thing: do not taste it straight 😀 it is an intensely powerful mix that finds its true flavour and delivers its true flavour once it is cooking inside the meat. The single most consistent result we saw from injecting beef was that the meat stayed juicy every single time.
