Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every order placed at grilly.eu. They are written to be read, not just clicked. Version 1, 18 September 2026 – a review by our legal adviser is pending; if anything here conflicts with the consumer law of your country, your local law prevails.

2. Who these terms are for

grilly.eu sells to consumers and businesses in the EU countries listed on the Delivery page. A consumer is a natural person acting outside their trade or profession. Sections 6 and 7 (withdrawal) apply to consumers only.

3. How the contract is made

Products on the site are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. You place an order by completing checkout and pressing “Buy now” – that button places an order with an obligation to pay. We confirm the order by email; the contract is concluded when that confirmation is sent. If we cannot fulfil an order (for example a product is out of stock or a price was obviously wrong), we tell you before dispatch and refund anything paid.

The contract language is English. We keep the order details in our system; your confirmation email contains everything you agreed to, so keep it.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and include VAT at the rate of your delivery country. Delivery costs are shown separately before you pay. The price shown when you place the order is the price you pay. Payment is taken when the order is placed, by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal – see Payment methods. Products remain our property until paid in full.

5. Delivery

We deliver to the address you give at checkout, by tracked home delivery. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days; delivery takes a further 2–6 working days depending on the country. If we cannot keep to this, we tell you and you may cancel the order and receive a full refund. Risk passes to you when you, or a person you nominate, take possession of the goods. Large items (grills on pallets) are delivered to the kerbside; we agree the delivery day with you beforehand. Details: Delivery.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period starts on the day you, or a person you nominate other than the carrier, receive the goods (the last item, if an order is delivered in parts). To withdraw, send a clear statement before the period ends – an email to info@grilly.eu is enough, or use the form at the end of these terms. Sending it before the deadline is sufficient.

Exceptions. The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed – this covers opened rubs, sauces, marinades and other food products. Sealed, unopened products can be returned.

7. Effects of withdrawal

Send the goods back to BBQÄssad OÜ, Pärnu mnt 230/1, 11314 Tallinn, Estonia within 14 days of telling us you withdraw. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods; for items that cannot normally be returned by post (pallet goods) we will tell you the estimated cost on request. You are liable only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

We refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (not the extra cost of a delivery option you chose over our cheapest standard option), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal – we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them. We refund to the same means of payment you used. If you return only part of an order, delivery costs are refunded only when the whole order is returned. Details: Returns.

8. Defective goods and warranty

You are entitled to goods that conform to the contract. Under EU consumer law you have a legal guarantee of two years from delivery for lack of conformity; in Estonia a defect appearing within the first year is presumed to have existed at delivery. Tell us as soon as you notice a defect (within two months of noticing it in Estonia) by email with photos and your order number. We will repair or replace the product, or if that is not possible or reasonable, reduce the price or refund. We cover the costs of returning defective goods.

Some manufacturers give their own additional warranty (for example on ceramic grill shells); its terms are stated on the product page and do not limit your legal rights. Food products have a best-before date printed on the pack; storage instructions are on the label and on the product page.

9. Liability

We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence and, without limitation, for death or personal injury. For other damage our liability is limited to the value of the order and to foreseeable, typical damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the applicable law. Product descriptions, heat levels and cooking suggestions are given in good faith; how a product performs on your equipment depends on many factors we do not control.

11. Complaints and disputes

Write to us first: info@grilly.eu. We reply within 15 days. If we cannot agree, a consumer may turn to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon, Endla 10a, 10122 Tallinn, komisjon.ee) or to the alternative dispute resolution body in their own EU country; the European Consumer Centres (eccnet.eu) help with cross-border complaints free of charge. Estonian law applies; if you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. Courts of Estonia have jurisdiction, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to sue or be sued in their home country.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the version in force when you place an order applies to that order. The current version and date are always on this page.
