What it is

Blues Hog Original is a thick, sweet, American-style BBQ sauce with a peppery finish that clings well to meat and forms a glossy glaze as it cooks. Blues Hog Original is one of the best-known sauces in competition BBQ, having won both the People’s Choice award and the “Best Baste on the Planet” title at the American Royal. The sauce’s rich sweetness is balanced by gentle heat, a kick of black pepper and a lightly tangy edge. Blues Hog Original works particularly well on ribs, pulled pork, pork belly, chicken, chicken wings, beef brisket and fish. You can use this BBQ sauce as a marinade, a dipping sauce, a basting sauce during the cook, or as a glaze towards the end of a low and slow smoke.
