Grate Goods Carolina Style Golden BBQ Sauce is a sweet-tangy mustard-based BBQ sauce inspired by South Carolina grilling traditions. The Grate Goods team has been gathering knowledge from American BBQ culture for over 25 years and won the international Whole Hog Award in 2015. Carolina Style Golden delivers a mustardy sharpness balanced by gentle sweetness and a light acidity. Grate Goods Carolina Style Golden BBQ Sauce works particularly well with whole hog BBQ, pulled pork, pork chops, grilled sausages and chicken. Use it alongside cooked meat, inside a burger or wrap, or as a glaze during the final stage of grilling. A mustard-based Carolina BBQ sauce makes a great alternative to the classic sweet, tomato-heavy BBQ sauce.

Our first move would be to put this in a pulled pork burger or serve it alongside grilled pork chops. The mustardy tang cuts through the richness of the pork nicely, and the sauce doesn’t just make the whole dish sweet. If the classic dark BBQ sauce is starting to feel a bit tired, the golden Carolina sauce is a very welcome change of pace.
