What it is

Angus & Oink Shish Happens is a rub whose roots lead straight to the heart of Istanbul street food. The inspiration was Adana kebab — a deep, smoky and richly spiced dish that left such a strong impression it was later rebuilt from the ground up, one layer at a time.

The blend is built on a classic Middle Eastern spice profile: smoked paprika, cumin, garlic, onion, lemon and herbs working together to produce a balanced, aromatic and lightly fresh result. It is not heavy or overwrought — it is clear and layered, exactly as a proper kebab-world flavour should be.

Shish Happens is an ideal fit for lamb, beef and pork, particularly when the goal is a grilled or skewered kebab. The flavour really opens up over a hot grill, where smoke and heat help the spices bloom and deliver that authentic street-food feeling.
