Turnpike Butter ‘n Garlic Seasoning is a versatile BBQ seasoning with a buttery garlic flavour profile, suited to grilling and everyday cooking. Turnpike Barbecue is a Dutch BBQ brand whose range covers seasonings, sauces and accessories for grilling. In our view, Turnpike Butter ‘n Garlic Seasoning works particularly well on steaks, chicken, fish, prawns, potatoes and grilled vegetables. The rub can be used as a dry rub before grilling, as a finishing seasoning on cooked food, or mixed with butter and oil to make a compound butter. The garlic flavour holds up equally well on meat grilled over high heat and on oven-roasted sides. The large 750 g pack suits the frequent griller, caterer or professional kitchen.

GRILLY comments

Our first move would be to put this on chicken thighs, prawns and grilled potatoes. It’s pretty hard to go wrong with the garlic and butter combination, especially when the food picks up a proper brown crust on the grill. On a steak we’d go with a moderate layer so the flavour of a good piece of beef still comes through.
