Heath Riles is the man who has won countless world championship titles in the ribs category. In recent years he has been virtually untouchable. He does it all with his own rubs and sauces. The Everyday Rub is meant to be the thing that replaces salt and pepper at home — just reach for this jar instead. In practice it’s not quite that simple, because the jar contains more than just salt and pepper: there’s a bit of spice, garlic and even some sugar in there. So far it has worked brilliantly on everything… even chips.
