Blues Hog Tennessee Red is a thin, vinegar-and-pepper BBQ sauce inspired by the barbecue traditions of the American South. Blues Hog is a highly regarded brand in the competition BBQ world, and its owner Tim Scheer won the overall title and the whole hog category at the 2022 Memphis in May world championship. Blues Hog Tennessee Red is tangy, moderately sweet and peppery, without being searingly hot. It pairs particularly well with pulled pork, ribs, pork shoulder, chicken, beef brisket and burgers, as the vinegar bite balances the richness of fattier cuts. You can use Blues Hog Tennessee Red as a marinade, for basting during the cook, adding inside a wrap, or as a dipping sauce alongside the finished meat.
